App-Specific Privacy Information

Running Records Calculator

Data Collection: Student reading assessment data (text entries, accuracy counts, reading levels) is stored locally on your device.

Data Usage: Assessment data is used solely for calculating running record results within the app. No data is transmitted to external servers.

Data Storage: All data is stored locally on your iOS device. No cloud synchronisation is used. Deleting the app removes all stored data.

SPICE

Data Collection: Cookbook index photos, extracted recipe data, and user-created cookbook entries.

Data Usage: Photos are processed using on-device OCR and AI extraction to create searchable recipe databases. Data is synchronised via iCloud when enabled.

Data Storage: Data is stored locally on your device and optionally synchronised via Apple iCloud. Binary Hub does not have access to your iCloud data.

Teach Pad

Data Collection: Lesson notes, assessment templates, and student progress data entered by the teacher.

Data Usage: All data is used solely within the app for creating, organising, and reviewing lesson plans and student assessments.

Data Storage: Data is stored locally on your iOS device. No cloud synchronisation or external server transmission is used. Deleting the app removes all stored data.

Task Star

Data Collection: Household chore names, assignments, schedules, and completion records entered by family members.

Data Usage: Data is used solely within the app for managing and tracking household task assignments and completion.

Data Storage: Data is stored locally on your iOS device with optional iCloud synchronisation for sharing across family devices. Binary Hub does not have access to your iCloud data. Deleting the app removes locally stored data.

Data Retention and Deletion

For all Binary Hub applications, your data is retained only as long as you continue to use the app:

  • Local-only apps (Running Records Calculator, Teach Pad): All data is deleted when you uninstall the app from your device.
  • iCloud-synced apps (SPICE, Task Star): Local data is deleted upon uninstall. iCloud data can be managed through your Apple ID settings at Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage.
